About Mindgrid Academy
A Nigerian tech-training platform built around proof.
Mindgrid Academy is the training arm of Mindgrid Technologies. It runs live cohort courses, self-paced courses, an internship marketplace, a mentorship programme and corporate training for organisations, all on one platform, all ending in a certificate anyone can verify. Operations are in Abuja; delivery is remote-first, so a student in Kano and a tutor in Abuja sit in the same Google Meet.

Every course is drafted by a tutor and reviewed before it is taught
Curriculum does not go live because someone uploaded it. It goes through the same review flow whether it is a full cohort course, a single lesson, a test or a scheme of work.

A tutor builds the course in the course builder: modules, lessons, live-class schedule, assignments, tests and exams.

Submitted
The tutor submits the course, and each lesson, assessment and scheme of work, for review.

Reviewed by Mindgrid
Mindgrid checks the content and either publishes it or sends it back with changes requested. Nothing goes live unreviewed.

Live classes run on Google Meet and are recorded automatically; recordings sit in the student dashboard.
Who teaches
Tutors are working professionals, interviewed and approved
Nobody teaches on Mindgrid because they applied. Every tutor is interviewed and approved by Mindgrid, and most teach one module: the thing they do every day at work.
Interviewed first
A tutor is interviewed and approved before they can build or teach a course. Approved tutors appear in the public directory once assigned to a course.
Practitioners, not lecturers
Tutors hold jobs in the field they teach. A module on incident response is taught by someone who has handled incidents this year.
Reviewed like everyone else
A tutor’s course goes through the same submit-and-review flow as any other, and a rejected lesson goes back to them with notes.
Proof
Certificates anyone can verify in seconds
A certificate that cannot be checked is a PDF. Every Mindgrid certificate is designed to be checked.
Unique ID and QR code
Each certificate carries an ID and a QR code that resolve to a public verification page showing the holder, the course or role, and the result.
One page for every programme
Course, internship and corporate certificates all verify at the same address, so an employer only needs to know one URL.
Names that mean something
Internship certificates name the sponsor company and the skills demonstrated; corporate certificates carry the organisation’s name.

Mindgrid Academy is operated by Mindgrid Technologies, a technology company that builds and advises across software engineering, AI, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure. The academy team, the approved tutors and the partner companies posting internships are the people you will actually deal with.

Operations run from Abuja, FCT. Classes, internships and support are delivered online, so you can study from anywhere in Nigeria.
