Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Mindgrid Academy and its related internship and mentorship services (together, the “Platform”), operated by Mindgrid Technologies (“Mindgrid”), a company operating in Nigeria. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

• You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or abuse the Platform or its community.

• Course content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute it.
• Internship placements and offers are subject to the specific terms communicated in each offer.
• Certificates are issued on satisfactory completion and can be verified publicly via our certificate verification tool. Falsifying or misrepresenting a certificate is prohibited.

The Platform is a marketplace: courses and mentorship sessions may be provided by independent tutors and mentors. Mindgrid vets tutors and mentors but is not a party to the professional advice they give. Tutors and mentors agree to the payout terms shown in their dashboards, are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles and content, and must be responsible for their own tax obligations.

• Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (e.g. Paystack); we do not store card details.
• If a paid mentorship session does not hold for reasons attributable to the mentor, you may request a rebooking or a refund.
• Course fees are refundable within 7 days of purchase if you have not substantially consumed the course content. Refund requests are made through the contact page and, where approved, are returned via the original payment method.

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe intellectual-property rights, or harass other users, tutors, mentors, or staff.
• Share, scrape, or redistribute Platform content or user data.
• Attempt to bypass payment, interfere with the Platform's security, or misuse the certificate verification service.

The Platform, its branding, and Mindgrid-produced content remain the property of Mindgrid. Content uploaded by tutors, mentors, or partners remains theirs; by uploading it they grant Mindgrid a licence to host and distribute it to enrolled learners.

The Platform is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific learning outcomes, or employment. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Mindgrid's total liability for any claim arising from the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any issue informally; unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
