Mindgrid Academy · beginner track
For complete beginners (school leavers, graduates of non-tech degrees and career switchers) who have never written code and want a solid start before choosing a specialty. Students learn how software and the web work, set up a developer laptop, write JavaScript programs, build and style a web page and make it interactive, save and share their work with Git and GitHub, learn to read documentation and use an AI assistant responsibly, and finish by building and deploying a small web app that talks to a public API or stores its own data. At the end they can build, explain and publish a small working web app, have a GitHub profile to show for it, and know whether to continue into the Frontend or Backend course in a later intake.
