Digital SAT preparation
The admissions test most US universities, and a growing number of Canadian and European ones, consider alongside your WAEC results.
Who takes it from Nigeria: Nigerian secondary-school students and recent graduates applying to undergraduate programmes abroad, especially in the United States, and to scholarships that ask for a standardised score. Scores are also used by some Nigerian private universities.

The exam
How Digital SAT is structured
About two hours and a quarter in total, taken on a computer through the Bluebook app at an approved test centre. Each section has two modules, and the second module adapts to how you did on the first.
Reading and Writing
Short passages, each with one question, covering craft and structure, information and ideas, expression of ideas and standard English conventions.
Math
Algebra, advanced math, problem solving and data analysis, and geometry and trigonometry. A built-in calculator is available throughout.
Scoring
Each section is scored from 200 to 800, for a total between 400 and 1600. Scores do not formally expire, but universities set their own rules on how recent a score must be.
Exam boards revise their formats and scoring from time to time. The outline here is a general description for planning your preparation; always confirm the current structure, dates and fees on the official site before you register. Official site: College Board
