Learn UI/UX design by doing the whole job on one real project: PayNaira, a savings app for Lagos market traders using low-end Android phones, expensive data, and hard-earned skepticism. You will run user interviews and turn them into evidence-based personas and journey maps; structure the product with information architecture, user flows, and mobile-first wireframes built for African network realities; craft the visual layer with worked type scales, WCAG contrast math, spacing systems, and a token-based design system; then prototype, usability-test with five real users, iterate, and hand off to developers without your design dying in translation. A second project — an Abuja hospital appointment flow — runs through the practice exercises. The course closes with portfolio case-study building, interview preparation, and freelance fundamentals, followed by a 20-question certification exam. Pass at 70% and earn a verifiable certificate.
